This program is a 4-year program of study, and upon successful completion students receive a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors.
The program is based on communication theory and professional practice. It also includes leadership, business management, design skills, and more, so that graduates are well prepared for the future workplace.
The program is offered in a variety of formats: face-to-face, online, or in a hybrid format (part online, part face-to-face). This is quite reflective of the structure of working in the real world. Team projects and internships in real companies are part of the training, which provides the necessary practical experience.
The training program includes the following courses:
- Information theory and interactivity;
- Introduction to audio and video production;
- Writing Strategies;
- Media, Law and Ethics;
- Information product development, infopreneurship and communication structures;
- Media and Culture;
- Web development and design;
- Social media and content management;
- Artificial Intelligence for Communicators;
- Business for Communications and Media and many others.
In the final year, students choose a narrow specialization, such as "public relations", "social media", etc., create group and individual projects, which they can then include in their professional portfolio.
Training includes a minimum 1 semester internship (minimum 420 hours of work) in a paid or unpaid position.
As a result of the training, students will acquire the following skills:
- Research, plan, analyze, contextualize, implement and evaluate communication strategies across multiple platforms.
- Understand the potential uses and misuses of data analytics, artificial intelligence, and social media.
- Develop communications strategies based on qualitative and quantitative research integrating art, communications, artificial intelligence tools, design, technology, and business.
- Know the fundamentals of entrepreneurship.
