Student Life at Cardiff University

Cardiff University has one of the best Student Unions in the UK. The Union has its student newspaper, magazine, radio station, and television channel.

The university has built a new Student Life Centre, which includes a bar, nightclub, concert venue, shops, cafes, post office, rental agency, and counseling center.

There are over 200 societies in the university, many of which represent regions of the world, including Africa, Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Latin America, and others.

Cardiff University takes sports seriously and encourages participation at all levels. The Sports Union manages more than 60 sports clubs and organizes sports competitions against other universities.

International students are guaranteed a single room in university residences for the entire duration of their studies. Cardiff University does not have shared rooms or dormitories.
