CATS College London Study Programmes

Cats College London offers several study programs:

1. A-level – this is a progressive program, which is considered one of the best for preparing for university studies. The student can choose 3-4 subjects to choose from depending on the specialization (business, economics, mathematics, psychology, etc.)

  • Entry requirements: age from 16, knowledge of English – 5.0 according to IELTS, knowledge of subjects – 5 according to GCSE.
  • Duration of study: 6 trimesters.
  • The course starts in September or January.

2. Foundation Programme – a “transitional” one-year programme designed for foreigners and helping them adapt to the British educational programme. It is distinguished by its narrow focus – the student receives in-depth knowledge of the chosen profession. For each specialisation, a set of disciplines necessary for full preparation is selected. The programme consists of the following subjects: accounting, biology, chemistry, economics, English literature, politics and government, history, mathematics, physics, psychology, sociology.

  • Admission requirements: age – from 17 years, knowledge of English – 5.0 according to IELTS.
  • Duration of study: 3 trimesters.
  • The course starts in September or January.

3. IB Diploma – a program for gifted students. Upon completion, they can receive an international diploma, which is recognized in all countries of the world.

  • Admission requirements: age from 16 years, knowledge of English – 5.5 according to IELTS.
  • Duration of study: 6 trimesters.
  • The course starts in September.

4. Pre: Programme – a programme designed to prepare students for entry to A-level, IB, Foundation.
  • Admission requirements: age from 15 years, knowledge of English – 4.0 according to IELTS.
  • Duration of study: 1, 2, 3 trimesters.
  • The course starts in September, January, April, July.

The preparation program can also be completed individually. In this case, the course is developed specifically for the student and lessons are held one-on-one with teachers. In this case, the student must study at least 7 subjects, including mathematics and English.

5. High School Term – a program for foreign students who are planning to move to the UK and study here.
  • Admission requirements: age from 15 years, knowledge of English – 4.0 according to IELTS.
  • Duration of study: 1, 2, 3 trimesters.
  • The course starts in September, January.

6. GCSE – a two-year program of study in basic subjects of your choice. After the exams, the student receives a certificate of incomplete
school education in Great Britain and can enter A-level or IB programs.
  • Admission requirements: age from 14 years, knowledge of English – 4.0 according to IELTS, high grades over the last 2 years.
  • Duration of study: 4, 5, 6 trimesters.
  • The course starts in September, January, April.

7. Academic English course – designed only to improve skills in writing, speaking, speaking and listening.
  • Admission requirements: age from 15 years, knowledge of English – 3.5 according to IELTS.
  • Duration of study: 1-4 terms.
  • The course starts every week and/or trimester.

Accommodation and meals

Cats College London students live in modern, comfortable campuses located close to the main building.

Premier House has 67 single en-suite rooms and 35 shared en-suite rooms. There are also common rooms and common areas in the building. Students have access to shared kitchens. Suitable for students aged 15–18 and over.

Piccadilly Court is a cluster campus with 204 rooms. Each section has 6 separate bedrooms and a bathroom, as well as a fully equipped kitchen and common room. Suitable for students aged 18 and over. There is a curfew on campuses: students must return by 9.30pm on weekdays and by 10.30pm or 11.30pm on weekends (depending on age).

Internet access: cable in students’ rooms or wireless Wi-Fi.
Students have access to a laundry service once a week for a fee, as well as washing machines and dryers. There is a library on site, with materials available for students to use throughout their studies.

Students on full board receive three meals a day in the campus canteen throughout the week. Students are offered dishes from different nations. There are also three cafes on the premises.

Events and sports

Cats College London ensures that students can not only gain knowledge, but also have fun, play sports, and make new friends.
Every week Cats College London hosts over 20 events of various types: from sports sections to self-development lessons.

Sports sections: basketball, yoga, fitness, zumba, rugby, football. On holidays, you can also play paintball, bowling, or go skating.

Cost of education and living

Tuition fees:
A-level, GCSE, Pre-programme, Foundation Programme – £29,985 per year or £9,995 per term;
Additional subject to the A-level programme – £4,785 per year or £1,595 per term;
Accelerated Foundation Programme – £24,790 per year or £12,395 per term;
Academic English Programme – £19,995 per year or £6,665 per term;
High School Term – £10,980 per term.

Cats College London provides a number of scholarships for gifted students, which cover 20% of tuition fees. Outstanding students can also apply for a 40% scholarship. All courses are subject to a non-refundable fee of £300 and a deposit of £2,200, which is returned at the end of the year. Senior secondary school students pay a reduced deposit of £700.

Accommodation costs:

Full board (includes breakfast, lunch, dinner on weekdays and brunch and dinner on weekends):
  • For a single room with private bathroom - £19,995 per year/£6,665 per term
  • For a shared room with private bathroom - £16,995 per year/£5,665 per term.

Accommodation only (does not include meals):
  • For a single room with ensuite - £16,695 per year/£5,565 per term
  • For a shared room with private bathroom - £13,695 per year/£4,565 per term.

It is also possible to stay off campus in a single en-suite self-catering room - £11,985 per year/£3,995 per term.
All students under 18 must study on a full board basis.

The total cost of tuition and full board accommodation (in a single room with private bathroom and meals) is £45,000-50,000 per year.
