Training programs Converse International School of Languages

Converse International School of Languages offers a range of training programs for its students.

Age: 18+
Duration of 1 lesson: 50 minutes
Number of people per class: up to 8 people.

Standard course – 20 lessons per week. Classes are held from 9 am to 12:45 am with breaks. The course is aimed at learning general English skills, helping to gain confidence in communication and improve vocabulary. Classes use discussion, role-playing, idiom study, listening, grammar, vocabulary expansion, and writing.
Cost: San Diego – $360 per week

Intensive course – 28 lessons per week. The program includes a standard course plus additional classes to focus on problematic aspects such as pronunciation, vocabulary, writing skills, idioms, speaking, and others. Classes take place from 9.00 to 12:40 from Mon to Fri and from 1:30 to 3:10 from Mon to Thu.
Cost: San Diego - $445 per week

Business English – 28 lessons per week. The program includes a standard course plus a course in business vocabulary and business communication. Classes are held from 9.00 to 12:40 from Mon to Fri according to the standard course and from 1:30 to 3:10 from Mon to Thu according to business specialization.

PRE - UNIVERSITY ACADEMIC YEAR – program for those who want to spend 1 year with the USA and prepare for further studies. The program includes 16 weeks of academic English, 1 semester at an American college, and many additional lessons on admission, development of study skills in the United States and adaptation to US culture.
Program requirements: high school graduated, English intermediate.
Cost: 16 weeks of English + 1 semester in college from $7840.

CISL PATHWAY PROGRAM – If you want to study in the USA, but do not have a sufficient level of English, this program is ideal for you. If you meet the requirements for enrollment in a partner college or university, the institution will issue you a conditional enrollment document upon pre-course at a CISL school. This way, you can calmly continue your studies immediately after completing your English course. Partner institutions include: Berkeley City College, California College of Arts, Fisher College, Whatcom Community College, The Los Angeles Film School, El Camino College, Alliant School of Management, Seattle Central Community College, California International Business University, New York Film Academy, Southwestern Oregon Community College, Mission College.

Executive English Program (San Diego) – The purpose of the course is to be able to communicate effectively in English in a number of business situations. The course allows you to develop communication skills that will provide an opportunity to succeed in business. Students learn to work with business letters, reports, notices, presentations, business etiquette, workplace problem solving, business analysis and other topics depending on the needs of students. The course is offered in classes of 4 people. All teachers have experience teaching and doing business.

Intensity: 20 classes per week from 9 am to 12:40 pm Mon to Fri.

Global Success English Program (San Francisco) The – program is designed for ambitious leaders, executive directors and professionals who want to be successful in a global economy. The course is taught in small groups (1:1 or 1:4) so that there is an opportunity to focus on the goals of each student. The course teachers are native speakers with extensive business experience. On the program you will be able to gain confidence in public speaking, improve your skills in working with reports, emails and business letters, improve your vocabulary in your field of activity, improve your understanding of speech and reaction speed, and learn effective communication skills. The program includes daily mini presentations, group classes to improve grammar, idiomatics, vocabulary, group projects and real-life presentation experiences, and more.
