It is located at Queen's Campus in Stockton. It is a small and welcoming campus with everything you need. Durham International Study Centre helps you develop the skills you need for university study. Specially designed courses will prepare you for undergraduate and postgraduate study in more than 30 different specializations. The course also includes English language study.

Admission requirements

For the International Foundation Year: good grades in relevant subjects at the end of secondary school, IELTS for UKVI 5.5 (5.5 in reading and writing, minimum 5.0 in other skills). Age: from 17.

For Pre-Masters – Science and Technology: good grades in the first degree that corresponds to what you intend to study. For 2 terms of study - IELTS for UKVI - 5.5 in all skills. For 3 terms - IELTS for UKVI - 6.0 (min. 5.5 in all skills). Age: from 20.

English for Pre-Masters: IELTS for UKVI - 5.0 in reading and writing, minimum 4.5 in other skills.

Pre-Masters:

Accommodation

Students can live in one of the university's residences on Queen's campus:

  1. Endeavour Court – for International Foundation Year students. Students receive a furnished bedroom with a bathroom and a shared kitchen, they can also use the laundry, a shared living room, Wi-Fi, a set of bed linen, a blanket, kitchen utensils. Cost per week – £140.
  2. Rialto Court – for Pre-Masters students. They get a furnished bedroom with a bathroom, a modern kitchen, the building also has a laundry room, a common room with games, Wi-Fi. The cost per week is £145.

Students can also purchase a meal pack from the campus canteen. It costs £618 per term.
