International Integrated Foundation Year in Engineering at the University of Exeter

The programme comprises foundation studies and a bachelor's degree within a single four-year curriculum, with students able to choose from a range of engineering specialisations: BEng Civil Engineering, BEng Electronic Engineering, BEng Engineering, BEng Engineering and Management or BEng Mechanical Engineering.

About the International Integrated Foundation Year in Engineering program

During the first year of study, students will attend: lectures, seminars, practical classes, group projects and presentations, and master classes.

The maximum class size is 16 people.
Successful completion of the programme guarantees the award of a BEng (with honours) from the University of Exeter.

Requirements: age – 16, certificate with good grades (or transcript if the student is still studying) with a notarized translation into English, IELTS 5.5 (minimum 5.5 in all components).

BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering - technical knowledge, management and entrepreneurial skills. There is a strong emphasis on project-based learning and the opportunity to work on real projects with industry partners.

BEng (Hons) Electronic Engineering - engineering at the intersection of artificial intelligence and big data, students will gain work experience through a 'Year in Industry' summer internship.

BEng (Hons) Engineering is a flexible degree that allows you to study engineering before committing to your chosen field, as well as gain practical experience of project work.

BEng (Hons) Engineering and Management - combines fundamental engineering knowledge and skills with advanced engineering management theory and practice. Ideal for people who enjoy working with people, coordinating projects and leading.

I would like to recommend that parents who want to send their child to study abroad use the services of InfoStudy. And here's why.

Everyone does it: I sent at least 10 requests to different agencies, because I understood that a newbie would not be able to cope with the task of sending a child to a foreign school. My child was 8 years old at the time, and the child was also from Crimea, which made the task even more difficult.
