London School of Economics and Political Science

The university was opened in 1895 by four members of the Fabian Society (Sidney and Beatrice Webb, Graham Wallace and George Bernard Shaw). Today, about 12 thousand people receive higher education at the university. Of these, about 70% are foreigners from 140 countries.

The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) offers more than 40 undergraduate programs, more than 160 postgraduate programs, as well as short-term courses, individual online courses, preparatory courses and summer school training.

The university has a well-developed infrastructure and creates excellent conditions for learning. Students can use an extensive library, computer labs, the Moodle online learning platform, as well as sports facilities, cafeterias, etc. Special services provide medical care, as well as social and psychological support to everyone who needs them. The excellent level of education at this university has been recognized by the TEF Bronze award. The university has also been awarded the Queen's Jubilee Prize for Higher and Further Education three times. In 2018, the university took second place in the world for its Social and Management Sciences programs according to the QS World University Rankings.

LSE alumni include 30 heads of state (current or former), as well as 18 Nobel laureates. Among them: Anthony M. Kennedy, Professor Robert Mundell, Ruth Porat, Juan Manuel Santos, Martin Lewis and others.
