Who is this program suitable for?

It is essential for students to develop the critical skills they need to distinguish good arguments from bad ones, learn to differentiate between information and propaganda, and be able to integrate different points of view with their own views.

This module is designed to expose students to a range of real-world political and cultural issues and develop the skills to think critically and ask the right questions.

Topics covered include, but are not limited to, bias, fallacies, and ‘fake news’. Each two-day course concludes with lively debates.

Approximate course schedule

This module enables students to appreciate the role of social leaders in creating social change.

On the first day of the course, students aim to broaden their understanding of the world around them by closely examining various social issues and reflecting on their impact on specific communities. They explore different pathways to effective social change while assessing and developing their own entrepreneurial skills.

On the second day, students have the opportunity to work on a practical task in which they apply their leadership skills to a current social issue that concerns them, creating innovative solutions. Students are given the opportunity to use leadership and thinking tools so that they can have a positive impact on the lives of others and create the world they want to see.
