Red River College offers its future students over 200 educational programs characterized by their being in great demand at the labor market. Most programs include practical training on the payment basis on the enterprise (co-op). The major of Red River College includes: computer and information technology, business, trade and technologies, engineering and CAD technologies, transport technologies, health protection, hospitality industry, social science, creative sciences and art. Requirements for enrollment to diploma and advanced diploma programs:

  1. Certificate of secondary education with attachment translated into English and notarized (as of the date of enrollment one shall submit school reports for the 9th, 10th grades and the 1st term of the 11th grade, and upon the school certificate obtaining the complete school report shall be sent additionally).
  2. Proof of language proficiency: Result of IELTS test - 6.0 (not lower than 5.5 in every section) or result of TOEFL test - 80 (not lower than 20 in every section) or taking preparatory language courses in Canada.

Requirements to enrollment for postgraduate programs:

  1. Bachelor's degree diploma with attachment translated into English and notarized (as of the date of enrollment one shall submit academic transcripts for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd year of study and for the first term of the 4th year of study, and one shall additionally send the diploma with attachment before the program beginning)
  2. Proof of language proficiency: Result of IELTS test - 6.5 (not lower than 6.0 in every section) or result of TOEFL test - 88 (not lower than 21 in every section) or taking preparatory language courses in Canada.
  3. One shall submit a portfolio of own works for creative specialties. One can find requirements to the portfolio on the college website in additional requirements section.

Language courses

Red River College is also the basis for the English language centre – Language Training Centre. It offers English language courses for foreign students for further enrollment to colleges or universities of Canada as well as for professional goals (e.g. Business English).

This centre offers the following programs:

Intensive English courses for foreign students – classes are held from 9.00 a.m. till 3.00 p.m. daily within 4 months. The remaining free time is for independent English studies, doing homework, visiting seminars and workshops, participation in cultural and sports events of the college.
