Schools in Canada attract attention from lots of parents across the world. There are a number of objective reasons for this: high level of education, favorable conditions for foreigners, high safety level in the country, available tuition, etc.
Canada invests enormously in the educational sector and has successful development increasing its world ranking every year. For several years, Canadian schools have been among the three most technologically advanced and computerized educational institutions in the world.
Almost all schools in Canada include 12 years of education (in Quebec – 11 years, in Ontario – 13 years).
Students from other countries may enter different programs:
- several weeks (vacation);
- 1-2 terms;
- 1-2 years;
- 3-4 years.
A popular option is to enter the 12th grade after finishing the 11th grade at your school. The last year of studies will help in adaptation to the foreign education system and getting prepared for entering a higher educational institution.
However, when taking studies for 3-4 years the student won't need to pass a test to prove his/her proficiency in English. This way will give an opportunity to get a diploma of secondary education in Canada and enter higher educational institution without a strain.
