San Diego State University American Language Institute

Students at the American Language Institute get access to on-campus shops and establishments, as well as free membership in a recreation center totaling 23,000 square meters. and a gym membership where they can practice on new tennis courts, swim in the pool, play squash, use the climbing wall, go to dance and bowling classes. Students can also take lessons in surfing, sailing, water skiing, and windsurfing.

Training programs San Diego State University American Language Institute

Programs at the American Language Institute are designed for students, professionals, corporate and government employees. These programs include

English for Academic Purposes (EAP) – Program for students who are preparing to take TOEFL or IELTS.

Tuition fee: $4,235 (May – August); $6,350 (August – December)

Pre-MBA and Pre-Master‘s Program – program for students who are preparing to receive an MBA or master's degree in another specialty at an American university. The program aims to improve English proficiency and academic skills in order to pass the TOEFL, IELTS, GRE, or GMAT.

Tuition fee: $4,430 (May – August); $6,530 (August – December)

Intensive English for Communication (IEC) – for those who want to improve their English communication skills, expand their knowledge of American culture, and practice English in natural situations on and off campus.

Tuition fee: $4,235 (May – August); $6,350 (August – December)

Business English for Global Practices (BEGP) – courses are designed for students and professionals interested in learning more about business in the United States. These courses combine language learning with business skills training. At the end of the course, students receive a certificate.

Tuition fee: $4,235 (May – August); $6,350 (August – December)

EFL/ESL Teacher Training & Certificate Programs – English teacher training program. Includes a TESL/TEFL certificate and advanced training courses for teachers from abroad.

Tuition fee: $2,775 per course

Semesterat SDSU – semester at the University of San Diego for undergraduate and graduate studies. A diploma is not provided, but students receive credits for completed subjects per semester.

Tuition fee (autumn semester) - $7,000

Business course for students with advanced English proficiency who study for a semester in a university program.

Tuition fee (autumn semester) - $7,000

Additional Semesterat SDSU – additional semester under the tourism and environmental management program.

Tuition for an additional semester is $7,000

Entry requirements: 70 TOEFL; 6.0 IELTS minimum; professional business experience for Business Certificate, SustainableTourism Management Certificate, Hospitality, Tourism, and Recreation Management Certificate, Social Entrepreneurship.
