Sheridan College was founded in 1967 and now is one of the leading educational institutions in Canada. The college is known by its applied programs, combining theory and practical training for preparing students for further career in fine arts and applied arts, business, communications, information technology, digital media, engineering, social and technical specialties. The number of students studying on three campuses of Sheridan (Brampton, Oakville and Mississauga) is over 17 000 students. The most ranking college programs are animation and design. The college is highly selective especially for creative specialties, where students shall submit a portfolio and additional tests and exams. The college is characterized by a high rate of employment upon graduation.

Requirements for enrollment to diploma and advanced diploma programs:

  1. Certificate of secondary education with attachment translated into English and notarized (as of the date of enrollment one shall submit school reports for 9, 10 grades and the 1st term of 11 grade, and upon the school certificate obtaining the complete school report shall be sent additionally).
  2. Proof of language proficiency: Result of IELTS test - 6.0 (not lower than 5.5 in every section) or result of TOEFL test - 80 (not lower than 20 in every section) or taking preparatory language courses in Canada.

  1. Bachelor's degree diploma with attachment translated into English and notarized (as of the date of enrollment one shall submit academic transcripts for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd year of study and for the first term of the 4th year of study, and one shall additionally send the diploma with attachment before the program beginning)
  2. Proof of language proficiency: Result of IELTS test - 6.5 (not lower than 6.0 in every section) or result of TOEFL test - 88 (not lower than 21 in every section) or taking preparatory language courses in Canada.
  3. One shall submit a portfolio of own works for creative specialties. One can find requirements to the portfolio on the college website in additional requirements section.
