The purpose of the college is to prepare students to continue their education at university. The college provides two types of programs for international students: Associate Degree and Transfer Program. The duration of both programs is – two years.
Transfer ProgramA university transfer program that offers lower (first-second) level courses followed by a 4-year transfer to a university in California (University of California, California State University, or private universities) or a transfer to a higher education institution in another state. Skyline College is a partner of more than 20 US universities and provides conditional admission to international students who have completed a transfer program.

Associate Degree ProgramA two-year program, after which the student receives an associate degree. Training programs offer two types of degrees: Associate Degreein Arts (AAdegree, humanities) and Associate Degree in Science (ASdegree, technical specialties). Required requirements for an associate degree: 60 units/credits, required GPA GPA GPA average (differing across majors).
