University College London

In 2012, University College London (UCL) joined the School of Pharmacy, and in 2014 – the Institute of Education. It is the first university in England to accept students regardless of race, religion and gender. Today it is one of the leading interdisciplinary universities in the world. It has more than 42,000 students, including more than 11,600 international students from 150 countries.

The university offers 440 undergraduate and 675 postgraduate programs. The university has a developed infrastructure, including academic campuses, laboratories, UCL includes 18 libraries, as well as computer rooms for classes, dormitories and much more.

University College London is located in the center of London in the famous Bloomsbury area.
The busy life of the metropolis will not give students the opportunity to get bored. The university holds many sports, cultural and social events. The UCL Bloomsbury Theatre operates on its premises. Students of the university have the opportunity to engage in volunteer activities.

  • UCL was ranked 8th in the QS World University Rankings 2020, making it the best university in London, 3rd in the UK and 4th in Europe.
  • 6th place in the NTU World Rankings, which is a ranking of research output for global universities.
  • In February this year, UCL's Institute of Education was ranked number one in the world for 'education' for six years running, while The Bartlett was ranked number one for 'architecture and construction' in the QS World University Subject Rankings.
  • A further eight subjects at UCL are ranked in the world's top 10, including archaeology (3rd), anatomy and physiology (5th), anthropology (5th), pharmacy and pharmacology (7th), geography (7th), medicine (9th), psychology (10th) and life sciences and medicine (10th).
  • New university rankings show UCL is in the top 0.7% of 1,620 institutions worldwide.

For international students, tuition fees range from £19,960 to £49,870 per year.
