Educational Programs at the University of Aberdeen

The university offers a wide range of training courses, as well as undergraduate and graduate programs.

Undergraduate Foundation Programme

This program will help you adapt to the Scottish education system while developing both language and subject knowledge. Equivalent to the first year of a bachelor's degree, this course offers progression to the second year upon achieving the required grades (except for law bachelor's programs, which admit students only for the first year).

Students can choose from the following specializations:

International Year Two

The second-year program allows you to kickstart your career by completing the foundational course and a bachelor's degree in just three years, provided you have already achieved a higher level of academic performance in your home country. This program is designed to support international students whose performance exceeds the level required for admission to the Foundation Bachelor's program.

Students can choose from two pathways:

University of Aberdeen campuses

The Old Aberdeen is one of the most beautiful and historic districts in Scotland, built in the 15th century.

Teaching and research are conducted at two campuses: Old Aberdeen and Foresterhill. The Schools of Arts, Social Sciences, Physical Sciences, and the main university library are located in Old Aberdeen. The Old Aberdeen campus consists of impeccably preserved buildings with the most modern facilities for learning, research, and recreation. The Schools of Arts, Social Sciences, and Physical Sciences are situated here.

With a plethora of modern facilities, Foresterhill is a hub for life sciences and medicine disciplines. The Foresterhill campus provides high-quality medical services, education, and research. It is jointly owned by NHS Grampian and the University of Aberdeen.

Additionally, the university has an international campus in Doha, Qatar.

Among the outstanding sports facilities of the university are the Olympic-standard Aberdeen Sports Village and the Aquatics Centre.
