University of Connecticut Is a public research university founded in 1881. It bears the prestigious title of the best national university in New England and occupies high positions in the rankings of authoritative publications. UConn is also known for its athletic achievements, with the men's and women's varsity basketball teams winning numerous championships and founding the longest winning streaks in U.S. college basketball history.

The university's main campus is located in Storrs. In fact, it is a separate campus city. Under his direct supervision are regional campuses in Hartford, Stamford, Waterbury, and Avery Point.

The application deadline for the central campus is February 15, for regional branches - May 1.

UConn tuition is $37,074. Total fees are $4,128. Applicants must have $41,202 as their base for education. Additional expenses for the period of stay in the United States include

• Accommodation and meals - $14,500.
• Educational materials, public transport, leisure, insurance - $7,592.

This brings the total amount to be counted on to $63,294.

International students are eligible for scholarships ranging from $5,000 to $15,000.
