Its history began in 1876 with the formation of the training firm Gibson & Weldon, which later turned into the Law School. In 1962 it grew to the College of Law, and in 2012 it received university status.

The University of Law has students of 120 nationalities. To help them settle in and adapt, a special support team works.

The University of Law's education is based on extensive practice and deep theoretical knowledge.The University includes a world-class law school and business school. Many courses are CMI accredited (the only chartered professional body in the country that offers the Chartered Manager (CMgr) degree). The International Foundation in Law and International Foundation in Business are the initial programmes for international students, held at the London Bloomsbury campus. They will help you gain the academic and linguistic knowledge you need to study at the university and obtain a degree. After completing one of these programmes, you can continue your studies on an equal basis with other students at any UK campus.

Sports, extracurricular activities and clubs

Every student of the university becomes a member of the Student Association upon admission. It is engaged in the development of clubs, coverage of student life, support of students and has its own parliament.

The university has many different clubs from culinary to sports and theater.
Excursions, parties, comedy evenings and other entertainment events are held for students.

The university has also developed a Personal Tutoring scheme. Each student receives a mentor who will monitor your studies and help if necessary.
