  • Aerospace technologies. University of Bellingham received several grants from Washington's Joint Center for Aerospace Innovation, totaling more than $160,000. Thanks to them, it will be possible to finance projects that will solve problematic problems in the aerospace industry.
  • Industrial design. WWU has established partnerships with top industry representatives, including Microsoft and Glosten Associates. One of the students' latest major successes was the development and sale of the first completely transparent solar window. The invention became the undisputed leader in a competition held by the US Environmental Protection Agency, and its creators received a reward of $75,000.
  • Vehicles. Representatives of the WWU Vehicle Research Institute won a grant and participated in a unique competition from the US Environmental Protection Agency aimed at finding developments for a sustainable future. The university's students were the only collegiate team to reach the final of the $10,000,000 Progressive Automotive X Prize.

The final amount is determined by the total number of students undergoing the training program. Before direct admission to undergraduate education, students receive $5,000 per year ($1,667 per quarter).

  • Undergrading Direct Admission involves scholarships in the range of $2,000-$6,000. The decisive value in determining the sum is the value of the average score (GPA). With a GPA of 3.0, students can expect a scholarship of $2,000, with a GPA of 4.0 and 5.0 - $4,000 and $6,000, respectively.
